Amtrak Paint Battle Part 1

So as Benny has just posted, yesterday we caught the train from El Paso to San Antonio. 12 hours in total on the train, but it was late & travel time to & from the station made it quite the epic journey.

We took lunch and had dinner with a retired couple from Perth...but how to fill the rest of the time?
PAINT WARS

So here is Ben's entry

Isn't it lovely...

And here's mine, Might I add that mine did take a lot longer, but I blame Ben scrutinising his portrait.

Please feel free to leave comments...
I was thinking Next time we'll make it a Mr Squiggle battle. Only a few will understand, but soon you all will =]
Oh & Quick update, we went to Mexico, it was bad. Big guns, scary people, we left real quick... I'm sure the rest of Mexico is nicer but avoid Juarez.
Hope everyone is well & holding up.

City's murder rate doubles

CIUDAD JUAREZ, MEXICO
January 12, 2010

Eighteen people were killed over the weekend in northern Mexico, eight of them in Ciudad Juarez, where the murder rate had already more than doubled this year compared with 2009, officials said.

Ciudad Juarez, ground zero for drug-related violence, has had 94 murders since January 1, against 46 for the same period last year, authorities said.

Last year, drug violence claimed more than 2500 victims in this city across from El Paso, Texas.

The eight murders on Saturday included a shoot-out between a military patrol and drug traffickers that left two shooters dead.
